A 19th century Meissen figural groupFormed as a well-dressed young gentleman with a tricorn hat, seated beside a begging dog, on a rockwork stump, the underside with blue painted crossed swords mark; together with another 19th century Continental porcelain group formed as a young lady sat with a cat on her lap. The former 12 cm high. (2) CONDITION REPORTS: Some chips and losses, including restorations, one to gentleman's protruding arm, one to tip of foot, restoration to dog, she with restoration to cat and to her right arm, some other small chips and losses, left arm also reglued and with some losses, some firing faults to both, general wear.
