Ralph Fabri (New York, 1894 - 1975) "Water Jump" Etching. Pencil signed and titled in lower margin. Image size: 2 x 3 inches. Fabri earned his M.A. degree at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. In 1921, he came to New York and studied sculpture at the National Academy School. He became associate professor of painting and art history at City College of New York and also taught at the Parsons School of Design, Newark School of Fine Art and Industrial Arts, and the National Academy School. He served as president of the Audubon Artists from 1952 to 1954, of the National Society of Painters in Casein, and of the Allied Artists of America and was treasurer of the National Academy of Design.
