Very finely decorated,large Imari porcelain plate dating from the mid 18th century with blue, dark blue, light red, and dark red painted designs and decorative elements with gold accents. The plate features illustrations of birds, blooming trees, and other flowers. There are three visible blue underglaze character marks on the reverse of the plate along with a Japanese customs label. The plate includes hanging hardware (a mental frame with a small mount) on the back. 15" diameter.
