劉春霖 八言對聯 A Chinese 8-character calligraphy couplet in ink on yellow paper by Liu Chunlin. The paper has a bat and butterfly border with dragon roundels. The calligraphy has 2 seals, a dedication, and is mounted on a silk backing with silk dowels.

Dimensions are: 66 inches tall X 14 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Some creasing and wear.

Provenance: From the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Hsu in Northern California. Mr. Hsu's father, Hsu Binru, was a newspaper reporter and worked in the Commercial Press. Mrs. Hsu's father, Xie Junlu, served as a member of Parliament in Shanghai 49 years ago. 拍品479至484來自北加州徐先生及夫人收藏。徐先生父親徐賓如原為報社記者，曾在商務印書館工作。徐夫人父親謝君魯，號大荒，49年前曾在上海擔任議員。
