任政 書法橫幅 A Chinese calligraphy in ink on paper by Ren Zhang with a poem and dedication to Cong Jun. The calligraphy has 3 seals.
Dimensions are: 8 1/4 inches tall X 15 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Minor creasing.
Provenance: From the estate of Mai Ruilin. Mr. Ruilin was born in Hebei and spent much of his life in the first half of the 20th century in Beijing, where he met many writers and painters. He collected extensively both in Beijing and in Hong Kong, where he relocated at the age of 49.
