王渐远（1498-1558），字用仪，番禺人。年少师从湛若水。正德进士，授刑部主事，家居三十年，荐补刑部郎，上疏未获采纳，乞归不出。究心里学，居沙湾青萝山下，世称青萝先生。此作纵横放逸，不减甘泉。
