于植元（1927-2003）男，汉族，山东省文登人。著名学者、教育家、书法家。首批享受国务院特殊津贴。自幼受传统文化的熏陶，书法造诣颇深，尤以行草见长，进入了现代中国著名书法家20余人之列。多次出国讲学，先后被英国剑桥世界人物传记中民收录于《世界知识分子名人》、《二十世纪杰出人物》等书，美国世界名人传记中心授予终身成就奖，被聘为海外分部顾问。
