许承尧（1874～1946年），曾单名芚，字际唐、芚公、婆娑翰林，室名眠琴别圃、晋魏隋唐四十卷写经楼等，徽州府歙县人。近现代方志学家、诗人、书法家、文物鉴赏家。二十一岁中光绪甲午科举人，光绪三十年（1904）中进士，入翰林。辛亥革命后，应皖督柏文蔚聘，任全省铁路督办等职，后随甘肃督军张广建入陇，任甘肃省府秘书长、甘凉道尹、兰州道尹、省政务厅长等职。1924年辞官回京，同年由京返歙，从此绝迹仕途，在家乡以著述终老，著有《歙县志》、《歙故》等。
