陈师曾（1876.3.12-1923.9.17），又名衡恪，号朽道人、槐堂，江西义宁人（今江西省修水县），著名美术家、艺术教育家。陈师曾善诗文、书法，尤长于绘画、篆刻。其山水画在承袭明代沈周、清代石涛技法的基础之上，注重师法造化，从自然景观中汲取创作灵感;写意花鸟画近学吴昌硕，远宗明人徐渭、陈淳等大写意笔法，画风雄厚爽健，富有情趣;人物画以意笔勾描，注重神韵，带有速写和漫画的纪实性。
