缪嘉惠（1875—1908），字素筠，女，祖籍云南，清咸丰年间，生于西充晋城。其父书勋，举人，1855年被西充县令聘掌书院。缪嘉惠自幼习书画，工翎毛、花卉，秀逸清雅，楷书也过时人。时慈禧降旨在全国各地寻求替她代笔绘画写字的女子，缪嘉惠被作为四川推举的候选人。清代女画家，慈禧太后的女官，代慈禧太后写字画画。恰其兄赴京会试，即兄妹同行。慈禧召见，经面试与笔试，大喜。这样，缪嘉惠便以代笔人的身份，留在皇宫内。慈禧爱其才，免其跪拜，赏三品服色，给月俸二百金，命其朝夕不离。颐和园、故宫、中南海等处盖有“慈禧太后御笔之宝”朱红印章的“福”、“寿”大字及花卉条幅，以及京城王侯家中作品，多为缪嘉惠所作。
