Chinese Cinnabar Lacquer Hexagonal Scholar's Plate carved with 2 Scholars watching a dancing girl and another on a boat, the border and reverse carved with flowers and auspicious objects with a 6 character Qianlong mark in a center rectangle; foot rim and outside rim covered in bronze. Good condition with light age related wear and very small chips. Diameter 8 1/8 inches (20.5 cm.).
