款识：擎攫风云起瀑雷，空山自䍩栋梁材，落荒太古无樵径，匠石安能一顾来。乙卯仲春之月，安吉吴昌硕。|钤印：俊卿之印（朱）、仓硕（白）、虚素（朱） |吴昌硕，名俊卿，别号缶庐枯铁，浙江安吉人。金石书画大师、西泠印社首任社长吴昌硕先生生前就酷爱超山梅花，他与超山也结下了不解之缘，晚年常栖息其间，春赏梅、秋登高，赋诗作画，游兴不衰。
