任预，一名豫，字立凡，浙江萧山人，任熊子。擅画山水、人物、花鸟，无所不精。在任熊、任预、任薰及任颐“四任”中，最为年轻。主要著作有：《近代六十名家画传》《海上墨林》《寒松阁谈艺琐录》《吴县志》《广印人传》。由于其父任熊逝世时他仅四岁，因此在画风上没有机会受到父亲的直接影响。
