张翀，字子羽，号浑然子、图南，江都（今江苏南京）人；一作江宁（今南京）人。他以人物画见长，上追古法，笔墨豪迈。他笔下的仕女，艳丽委婉，但设色古雅，神态超逸。评者以为他得人物画之正传，而又不流于庸俗。他也能画山水，所画山水树石，苍郁深秀。他的写生杂画亦佳。崇祯元年（1628年）作风雪联辔扇，顺治二年（1645年）作聘庞图，均藏故宫博物院。
