Finely molded, cast with serene face, with naturally painted long Athe eyes and lips, beneath the reticulated headdress, clad elaborately carmine-red robe, with ornate head rest and necklaces. Both hands are resting on lap, with palm facing upward in meditative equipoise Dhyana-Mudra, gesture of balance meditation, seated cross-legged in full lotus position upon lotus throne. The underside with incised quatrefoil flori-form petal visvavajra mark surrounding the centralized DaiJi. Extensive trace of gilt remain on face, hands, and chest, with hints of dark-blue pigment on hair.
