Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong blue and white floral conjoined vases. With one taller on center and surrounded by fifth conjoined body. Potted in a baluster shaped vase, with tall ovoid body, rounded shoulder tapering gracefully to a prominent straight neck below the flared rim, raised on slight flat base. All reserved of hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. The main body delicately with abundant various flower blooms interspersed with scrolling tendril. The neck decorated with archaic flower blooms and upturning phoenix tail, enclosed with double fine blue rings. Repeating taotie mask on the shoulder and auspicious pattern on the foot base rim. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the underglaze cobalt blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy and shading to the design. The glaze stopping before the foot rim, revealed the pale-creme ground, with orange and grayish firing marks. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
