DESCRIPTION: An antique center bowl composed of an antique Japanese Imari porcelain bowl embellished with rust, gilded, and cobalt motifs of Hoho phoenixes, foliage, and floral motifs. The bowl rests atop a possibly French, dore bronze base with scrolled rococo floral motif feet, flanked by scrolled Rococo floral motif and griffin handles.
