盘为敞口，弧壁，圈足，底釉平整光润，内外壁均施白釉，外壁釉下刻划海水纹，釉上以绿彩描绘五爪云龙纹两条；内底及足墙均绘绿彩弦线，盘心为绿彩绘一侧面团龙，龙纹轮廓清晰，周饰祥云。据耿宝昌所著《明清瓷器鉴定》中言，白釉绿彩器创烧于宣德朝，弘治、正德较为成熟，而白地暗刻绿彩云龙纹则为成化时期始烧，其后延续烧造，造型多为盘、碗。此盘所绘五爪行龙工致精细，龙纹复施绿彩，纹饰流畅，工艺繁复。其所施绿彩微微闪黄，十分鲜嫩，透明感较强，时代特征鲜明，为弘治官窑代表器。
