清乾隆时期制瓷工艺精湛、备诸巧妙，各式新器型、新釉色层出不穷，本拍品便为一例，系以雕瓷仿生山石所制。通施铁褐色酱釉，其釉色和造型皆仿天然赏石，粗旷简洁，器表嶙峋，凹坑起伏，又有贯通透洞穿凿于其中，于方寸之间收摄大化山水，意境高超。赏石之上，孔孔相通，所以被称为路路通，即禄禄通，寓意四通八达，包含了路路相通事事顺的美好含义。旧配供盒。参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系-文玩》，上海科技出版社，2009年，页124，图94。
