A late 19th century Fr. silver, gold and gunmetal open faced pocket watchthe silver case bearing Swiss marks, with gunmetal and gold clad exterior, having white enamel dial with with arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and Breguet hands, in original fitted morocco case stamped L.F 25 Aout 1878, signed 'Maison Rouze Janin & Cie Srs 14 BoulRT des Italiens, together with an associated metal watch chain fitted with a silver mounted carnelian and blood stone swivel fob, a 19th century Fr. gilt metal hand seal with egg shaped polished agate handle, inscribed 'Bonjour Pilippe" and a novelty brass vesta case in the form of a rotund nude woman sat on potty (4)dial diameter 4.2 cm., vest height 6 cm. Condition: 1 - chips to gunmetal round the edge of the back and the side, hairline crack to dial running from below 50 of the seconds dial to 8 o'clock, watch winds ticks and run but no guarantee can be given as to the working order of this watch. 2 bloodstone with a scratch, 3 - gilt worn, 4 - good rich dark patination
