Two 19th century Oriental travelling eating setsone Japanese having a shagreen case with metal mounts containing a pair of bone chopsticks and a signed steel blade with bone grip handle, the other Chinese in an oval shaped case covered in embossed black paper containing a pair of brass mounted screw fitting two section chopsticks, green stained bone handle knife and pincers, a pair of tweezers and a brass and bone set of opium scales (2)shagreen case - length 32.5 cm., oval case - 18.5 x 9.5 cm Condition: Shagreen case - some pitting to steel blade, some wear to mounts, oval case - embossed paper covering distressed with areas of loss, old patch repair to one end. steel bladed of knife, tweezers have areas of corrosion, one utensil not present
