Artist Owen Gibbons headed the Coalbrookdale School of Art in Shropshire, while designing a number of tiles for Maw & Co. He later went into partnership in Gibbons Hinton & Co, another manufacturer of outstanding tiles. Presented in a decorative wooden frame with tan velvet matte border.
