A sapphire and diamond cluster ring, circa 1930The cushion-shaped sapphire within a scalloped surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, diamonds approx. 0.55ct total, ring size approx. Q½, cased by O. L. M. Macan Markar of Cairo and Colombo, accompanied by the original purchase receipt from O. L. M. Macon Markar, dated 14th January 1931, and a note from Waters & Blott of 54 Marshall Street, Beak Street and Regent Street, London, also dated 1931, confirming that in their opinion the centre stone is genuine.注脚Accompanied by a report from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory stating that the sapphire is natural, of Sri Lankan origin, no evidence of heat treatment.
