A diamond spray brooch, by Bolin, circa 1960The principal old brilliant-cut diamond issuing wirework sprays, set with old brilliant-cut diamonds, principal diamond approx. 1.15cts, remaining diamonds approx. 2.00cts total, maker's mark WAB, Swedish assay mark, width 5.8cm注脚The House of Bolin was established in St Petersburg around 1790 by the German-born jeweller Andreas Roempler. They became official Jewellers to the Imperial Court in Russia in 1839 and created many of the parures worn by the Empresses and Grand Duchesses. Most famously, Bolin created the Vladimir Tiara for Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna for her wedding to Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich of Russia in 1874, which now belongs to Queen Elizabeth II.
