The 39 mm 'thin case' measuring 12.7 mm in thickness with gloss black gilt chapter ring dial (Type 1Superlative Chronometer / Officially Certified), steel hour, minute and centre sweep seconds hands, baton and dot hour markers, date aperture at 3 o'clock with magnification bubble, original bezel with deep cut crenellations and early 'el cornino' pointed crown guards with 20 mm stainless steel Oyster bracelet ref. 78360. History: Inherited by the vendor from her grandfather, unfortunately without box or paperwork. Currently in working order, although we do not guaranteethe working order or accuracy of the watch. The caseback has been opened by a former Rolex watchmaker who specialised in vintage watches and who commented that the movement is in good condition with the original balance shock setting and no wear to the case from the rotor weight making any kind of contact.
