AN AMAZONIAN EARTHENWARE VESSEL The bulbous body tapers to a flat foot, with a waisted neck that flares to the circular mouth, the vessel is decorated with painted stylised birds, with long curving necks and feathers indicated by multiple dash masks surrounding the bodies, necks and small wings, a floral motif decorates the neck between two bands, 27cm high.
