A GROUP OF WESTERN HAN TERRACOTTA POTS Circa 3rd Century B.C. Of various forms, including a squat vessel with a narrow rim, decorated with incised linear motif all over the body, with applied 'S' shaped decoration on each side of the shoulder; a bulbous vessel, formed in pale earthenware, with diagonal bands of incised dash patterns; and a rounded vessel, with an open mouth with no rim, an 'S' shaped handle is applied with a double spiral finial, on the opposing side a loop is attached also with double spiral decoration, from which a small circular ring suspends, 12cm - 17cm high, (3) Provenance: Property of an important private UK estate.
