2 Chinese Two-Clay Yixing Teapots, the first in cylinder shape fitted inside with a separate Yixing Strainer, the outside in a red clay slip, the inside and strainer in dark brown clay, impressed seal mark to base and the sides with carved calligraphy; the second in dark brown clay with bands of red slip and applied flowering prunus branches, a "CCCI / 2000" impressed mark to bottom of handle and inside cover, another impressed seal mark to base. The first with 2 small re-stuck chips to inside edge of teapot, the second in good condition with light age related wear to both. Length from handle to spout of first 5 1/4 inches (13.5 cm.). Length from handle to spout of second 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm.).
