4 Chinese Teapots; 1 teapot carved out of a large Bamboo root in the shape of a Pommegranate with seeds showing to one side and calligraphy around top, inside and spout with red lacquer coating, the calyx forming the cover; together with 3 Yixing teapots, a Persimmon teapot with leafy cover, impressed mark to base and carved calligraphy and coins to sides, the cover with leaves. a bamboo shaped teapot with impressed marks to base and inside cover, and a light and colored yixing clay "Silkworm" Teapot with marks to base and inside cover. Bamboo teapot with short shrinkage crack below spout, Persimmon teapot with chips to inside edge of cover and 3 or 4 flakes to leaf edges and an original small & short firing crack to mouth edge, bamboo teapot with a very tiny nibble to inside edge of mouth, silkworm teapot with 2 hairlines in body. Height of persimmon teapot with cover 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm.). Length from handle to spout 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm.).
