Of rectangular form, the detached cover formed by five various kozuka with gold and copper inlays, depicting a snail, flowers, musicians, a giant carp and a dragon, a pair of menuki of a boy riding a carp decorate the long sides of the box, the short sides incised with flowering plants.
9.5cm long. (2).注脚Provenance: Major James Findlay (1915-1990) collection, Aberdeen, acquired 1950s-1960s; and thence by descent.
