Flaches Etui, verziert mit grün marmorierendem Opak-Emaille. Rotgoldmontierung, am Deckel applizierte Schriftzüge "D'amitié" und "Necessaire". Ovale Miniatur mit galantem Paar in einer Parklandschaft, rückseitig Mädchenportrait. Gouache auf Elfenbein. Undeutliche französische Punzierungen am Rand. Innenleben unvollständig, Alterssch.

FRENCH GOLD MOUNTED AND ENAMELLED NECESSAIRE, c. 1780/85. Oval miniature painting on ivory depicting a couple in a garden landscape, a portrait of a girl on the opposite side. Gold mount lettering "D'amitié" and "Necessaire". Unreadable French gold marks to rim. Utensils not complete. Damages due to age.
