The monumental balustrade finial originally placed on top of an oyabashira (newel), cast with an onion-bulb (cintamani)-shaped finial supported on a cylindrical column broken by multiple raised horizontal bands (fushi) tapering to a 'jewel pedestal' (tamadai).
