A LARGE METAL 'SINGING BOWL', TIBET, ca. 19th ct., the large bowl incised at the inner base with the phoenix within a medallion surrounded by bands of geometric motifs and scrolling tendrils, the outside with Vajradhara, Sitatara, Manjushri, Sadaksharilokeshvara and Syamatara, all placed on a lotus base rising from a mountainous landscape, each separated by a vertical vajra and mantras and the base with a medallion set with a dragon amongst clouds - Provenance: Former South German private collection, assembled prior 2007 - Minor traces of age
