Based on archaic bronze form, the body of rectangular section swelling around the middle and tapering at the neck, the belly moulded on two sides with a slightly raised circle, the neck flanked by a pair ofrectangular lug handles, covered overall in a claret coloured glaze thinning at the edges to reveal the white body and pooling in the furrows, the glaze further accented with patches of milky sky-blue glaze drizzlingdown the shoulders, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark beneath a brown glaze.
