Chinese Qing Dynasty Doucai porcelain bowl. Potted in a shape of a simply porcelain bowl deep vessels, the rounded cavetto gently rising the sides toward the flat rim, raised upon a small ring foot base with a slightly raised footing. Double fine blue ring on the upper neck and foot base. The exterior decorated in DouCai hand painting of colorful tones of floral blooms called Three friends in the winter. DouCai means colors which fit together" and can be seen by the harmoniously painted floral design covering the bowls outer surface. All sets over clean pale white underglaze base ground. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct, the composition is sophisticated and the colors are a feast for the eye. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue script characters, Qian Long Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.Measurements: 2-1/4" H x 4" Diam.
