Pair of Chinese porcelain bowls, both potted a deep vessel forms, rounded cavetto rising the steep sides leading toward slightly flaring rim, supported upon a narrow footed base. The exterior delicately hand painted with flowering chrysanthemum blossoms, set against geometrical sgraffito diaper in rich purple-red underglaze ground. The interior and concaved central base remain white underglaze. The painting, and the shape without overlap the outlines of the design, well drawn, clear, subtle, and distinct. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The under-base bears a reign mark, a horizontal six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine rings, Made in The Years of Kangxi Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.Measurements: 2-3/4" H x 6" Diam.
