A Chinese Famille Jaune monochrome glazed porcelain bile bottle vase. The immaculate porcelain body is covered with a characteristic silky glaze. Feminine body rises naturally into a straight long neck, outward at the ovoid opening. The exterior covered with beautiful lemon-yellow glaze, elegant and exquisite, which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The yellow glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the receded central interior base left white underglaze. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the underglaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep grayish-brown. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. The under-base bears a reign mark, a vertical six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine rings, Made in The Years of Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.Measurements: 13-1/8" H x 7-1/8" Diam. PROVENANCE: From the private collections of Green family, of New York, by inheritance. Estate from ST LAWRENCE ANTIQUES, Riverside DR, Ogdensburg, New York. The Green's family collections offered at this Auctions can be found on Lot-278 Through Lot-302.
