此壶折肩，形似瓮形，上下内敛，中腹鼓圆。弯流置上腹，鋬环昂扬，内平外圆，截盖平整，沿角圆弧，中竖宝珠钮，昂然奕奕，无不佳妙。清乾嘉人俞蛟《梦庵杂著?潮嘉风月记》曰“壶出宜兴者最佳，圆体扁腹，弩嘴曲柄，大者可受半升许”，由此昔日茗泡功夫茶，对于茶器甄选，可有其心法。
