通身全为红木厚板制作，此佛龛拟宫殿样式，上为屋顶，刻有斗拱，中为柱身，下为基座。整体雕刻工艺细腻造型唯美。佛龛为佛堂重要陈设，传世品以模拟官式建筑园林楼阁者为大宗，如宫殿式龛、楼阁式龛、亭式龛和各式塔龛等。因中国古代建筑为木制，难以长期保留，所以佛龛作为建筑的缩影颇为珍贵。此佛龛拟宫殿建筑，工艺考究，供佛之外，尚富观赏价值。
