此幅粤绣以米白素绫为地，绣一红衣仕女持团扇立于门廊下，正与旁侧手牵小儿的蓝衣夫人窃窃私语。不远处丫鬟手提花篮缓步而来。园中草木繁盛，欣欣向荣，各色鸟儿俱成双成对，春色满园。在针法上采用了套针、齐针、顶针、施毛针、鸡毛针、扎针、刻鳞针、松针、接针等十余种针法，交错变幻，将禽类羽毛一根根、花木小草一叶叶地绣出，运丝讲究鸟羽的丝理走向，追摹真实物象的质感，逼真写实，达到了出神入化的艺术境界。整幅几乎不留空白，千姿百态，吉祥寓意繁多。右上方绣唐代骆宾王《咏美人在天津桥》诗一首：“美女出东邻，容与上天津；整衣香满路，移步袜生尘。” 落广绣名家“女史潘秋云”款，并白文“潘印”，朱文“秋云”各一方。
