【形制】此炉体型颇大，口沿外撇，束颈鼓腹，形制文雅，肩部锦边双凤兽面为饰，双凤呈祥。锦边刻画线条卷曲有致，双侧天鸡耳为饰，天鸡耳铸造雕塑精美。鼓腹部分素面无纹，圆润光滑，圈足微外撇，饰漩涡纹，錾刻精细，一丝不苟，可见匠心，置于殿堂之上，作为陈设或礼器，可谓首选佳器。【皮色】其皮为栗壳色。深栗微红，略沉深紫，墨晕其上，润泽古意，厚重沉着，抚之绵腻，不盘自润，甚得古朴之蕴。【款识】“大明宣德年制”，六字楷书，字体端正，铸后修刻，刀法精准，圆润飘洒，极其规整。【铜质】银黄之铜，铜质紧密，壁薄压手，轻音卓越，悠扬悦耳。参阅：1.北京翰海拍卖2014春季拍卖会《烟缈集真—明清铜炉》LOT2206号
