曾来德，四川省蓬溪县人。1956年生，1973年入伍，现为国家一级美术师，中国国家画院副院长、书法篆刻院执行院长、院艺委会委员，中国书法家协会理事、教育委员会主任，北京大学客座教授，世界华商书画院院长。1980年代初拜著名书法家胡公石先生为师，研究今人的审美，融进时代精神并创造自己的书法风格。他不但是一位书法大家，也是一位能独辟蹊径的山水画大家，在国内外产生广泛影响。。
