|造型仿青铜器觚样式，口沿外撇，颈部收束，鼓腹，圈足外侈。颈、腹及圈足各饰扉棱四道，俗称「出戟」。通体施青釉。此件出戟花觚造型古朴庄重，充分利用了宽厚的扉棱来衬托其优雅的线条，慕古而不泥古，是仿青铜器的典范之作。传统学术界曾将此种器形与钟情于青铜器收藏的宋徽宗〔1101-1126〕联系在一起，认为出戟花觚是北宋晚期宫廷使用的典型陈设用瓷。上海博物馆藏有一件钧窑月白釉出戟尊，为胡惠春旧藏，著录于上海博物馆1989年出版，《胡惠春先生王华云女士捐赠瓷器精品选》，39页，图录编号9。与此件器物相似。
