|蚰龙耳，又称『蜒蚰耳』，器形仿宋代定窑瓷器，为宣德帝文房用器，《宣德鼎彝谱》赞其『款制大雅，为诸炉之冠』，甚受后世珍爱，仿者甚众，传世可见各色皮壳及各式款识者。本炉即为佳例。此炉造型规整秀美，铜质精纯细腻，从圈足外露的金黄色铜质可见一斑。亮金色色泽纯正，耀眼夺目。更为难得的是，其皮色内融，暗淡中发出晦光，与内部铜色形成鲜明的对比。炉身线条流畅优美，通身无纹，观久不厌，尽显简约之大美，皮色深沉似墨，颇具古朴沧桑之气。底落『水竹居』三字款，字体工整。
