按语：此帧“云步桥”为应野平盛年时写生创作佳构，用笔细腻，设色清丽，与市面流通晚年普通作品有云泥之别，识者宝之也。
简介：应野平，初名端俊，改名俊，以字行，一字野萍、野苹。浙江宁海人。海上著名画家。工山水，擅书法，精画论，注重写生。曾任上海中国画院画师、上海美协常务理事、上海书协名誉理事、上海大学美术学院教授。 款识：云步桥。登泰山过云步桥上达日观峰，飞栈连云为东岳绝胜之处，古称登泰山而小天下，此其津梁，一九五八年，应野平。
