Mixed Media Painting on Canvas with Wood and Metal Details. Signed by Dario Iosimi (b.1963), Rome- and Tangiers-based mixed media artist and co-owner of Atelier Des Italiens in Morocco.
Central piece is oil painted on canvas with blue gray background, an abstract-styled ancient warrior in magenta, depicted with sword and shield with modernistic iconography and hieroglyphs in green, blue, yellow and other colors to top and bottom. Affixed to outer frame are circuit boards, insulated wires, and assorted techiana. First presented in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1991.
