Chrome tone and black Bakelite Roman column style receiver.
An antique crank telephone produced by the Kjobenhavns Telefon Company of Denmark c. 1895. Manufactured on a black metal carriage with a hand painted decoration of two musicians in Renaissance style to one panel. Working crank with Bakelite handle and Bakelite Grabaphone handset. Wooden base. KTAS served the Danish capital, Copenhagen, beginning in 1882. Some fraying to original cord.
