Original brass candlestick shaft with black paint worn off in many areas by the passage of decades. Original patina. Incised on back of working adjustable chrome transmitter MFD. BY STROMBERG-CARLSON TEL. MFG. CO. ~ ROCHESTER N.Y. U.S.A. Red letters RB painted to base. Formed in 1894, Stromberg-Carlson was an electronics manufacturer and one of the five U.S. companies that controlled the supply of telephone equipment until after World War II.
