(2) Chinese Ceramic Scholar's & Ginger Jars: China. a) Small blue glaze porcelain scholar's box and ginger jar with birds and flowers from the 20th century. b) The box is carved with squirrels and grapes on the lid. It comes with a wooden stand. The ginger jar is white ground with floral motifs and birds around the lid and body. It has a mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: box - 1 5/8 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide; ginger jar - 4 1/2 inches tall X 4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The stand for the box is damaged.
