Lot has five hard to find French silk & needlework postcards, these were popular in WWI with Allied soldiers. These cards were mailed by Canadian soldier Pvt. James William Frost to his wife, Violet and his two sons. Sadly James did not survive and died of Pneumonia in 1919, his first two sons George and Charles who drowned in June of 1923. His son Mervin became a US citizen and soldier who's archives are in the next lot. Lot includes, French silk handkerchief, pension papers, discharge, burial deed, his sons birth certificates, last will, framed images of him, his wife and one son (probably Mervin), etc.
